Because  I am broke and still have kilo's of left-over-yarn, I am using this herringbone-pattern before I let me buy any other yarn.

This olympic athlete has reached the finish.

Not without making any mistakes, but I suppose that's in the spirit of other Dutch athletes during this olympics.

My socks are progressing in norwegian-snow-ski-socks. It's very hard to watch and play the games at the same time: one eye is watching the games, the other is watching the knitting.

But I'm in great shape and will complete my socks in time.

What's the challenge?

watching and playing the games at the same time!!! You think that's easy? Not! It's intarsia, that makes the difference between ordinary knitting and knitting on an olympic level.

The girls at work all laughed when they found out that their boss was knitting. Now they all want a scarf like this. Well, maybe I'll make you one if you get me another cup of coffee and be very cooperative for a few weeks..........

Great excuse for a subtle use of different collors when there isn't enough yarn.
