Can't stop knitting mittens. These are for my Big Sis.

She has her house filled with blue/white and I am sure she will love these. The pattern is from this book.

Last couple of days it has been bloody hot while I was trying to knit mittens for my best-friends birthday which is on June 19th.  But my fingers got all sweaty so I had to stop. Since last night the gods are on my side again because they let it rain. Bless them!

So today it's Knitting Time all over again!

My son Adriaan (remember that name because he will be joining the games in 2014!) shows the winning colour of this tournement: ORANGE!!

The yarn is from Lana Grossa (team colour) , who has yarn in all the tournement-contestants colours.

bag!

Needlebook made such a lovely bag! She inspired me to make my own. This is what I made of it:

1. knit stripes: go wild!

      

2. knit more stripes at both sides

3. Sew the sides, put lining, handles and a zipper in

4. embroid the bag and sew buttons on

5. admire and enjoy the bag
