February 2007

bork! bork!

I knew it!

You Are the Swedish Chef
"Bork! Bork! Bork!"
Your happy and energetic - with borderline manic tendencies.
No one really gets you. And frankly, you don't even get you.
But, you sure can whip up a great chocolate mousse

corners of my home

No knitting this week (apart from boring grey socks for Paul). Instead I'll show you my home. I love looking at  flickr's corners of my home. We recently painted the living room, so that part is all shining and organised. My mother can be proud.

Now I am starting a new TAG: show us on your blog at least 5 pictures of your home and tag 2 others. The first lucky ones are: TIJM and BERTHI !!!

Tassel or modern faire-isle socks

Yarn: opal black and xxl trecking ombre no 107 . For lazy knitters (such as I) the trecking yarn is the perfect cheat for a fair-isle-look. But who cares? The result is what counts. Beside of all that: we are living in the 21st century and we can live and work in comfort. Therefore: Make good use of all the advanced technics of this year and age: such as xxl trecking ombre yarn!

Motif: from luise roberts's 1000 great knitting motifs. (page 88)

The pattern is my own and can be found on the site of wolhalla in march: that's when I'lll be famous!
