Which Bob Dylan song are you?
Tangled Up In Blue

Yesterday I went to Baabw in Amsterdam. He sang " Ain't talking, just walking" from his last album " Modern Times." I think he sang it just for me, because it is one of the most beautiful songs ever. In fact I will have that song played on my funeral. Since that song I kinda looking forward of getting old: just to walk in that mystic garden with the gardner long gone, but still yearning.
Another favourite album of mine is " Blood on the tracks" And guess what: it turnes out that "tangled up in blue" is me! That makes a lot of sense.
You can find out yourself what Bob Dylan song you are: look here. Please do and let me know the result.
At One Fine Yarn I ordered the pattern and yarn for the
Flower Basket Lace Shawl. I love this pattern so much because it has the perfect size: it's elegant and you don't wear a complete blanket around your shoulders.
The Yarn was an Australian handpainted yarn with the poetic name: Mangrove (been there!) Look at this soft yarn with really beautiful mangrove-colours:
I searched in my stash and found good old Opal. Bright colours and the yarn is fantastic to knit as ever.
This is how it looks like on the needles. Spot the differences!
Thank God for blocking.
This is the content after unraveling the Dutch Magic Ball. The gifter sure has done a great and thorough investigation after me because I love all the stuff.
And I am sure that I will love these as well if I only knew what they were....
The kind gifter also included a pattern of this Easter chicken. Look how happy the little fellow is in his natural habitat (doesn't a chicken look great with parsley)
Thanks again dear gifter!
This is the second time I participate in The Dutch Magic Yarn Ball Swap : I have just received the most beautiful box ever: the anonymous giver has really made an effort to make the gifts personal. There was a nice letter, a beautiful piano "loper": (don't know the English term for it) handembroided and a pattern of an Easter-chicken with the yarn included. While knitting this chicken other presents will reveal themselves.
Look at my pictures and be jealous:
