looking good
Yesterday my friend Lian, celebrated her birthday. I know her since highschool. This year we both turned 45. In dutch we say this the same as in english: I AM 45 years old. I prefer the french way of saying your age: J'ai 45 ans ( I HAVE 45 years). More ellegant in mine oppinion. Yesterday I wondered at what age "you look good" changed in "you STILL look good". Please, friends and gentlemen: don't think you are giving a compliment with that: skip the STILL, No STILL, it is absolutely not what we 40+ ladies want to hear.

Bij die tassen loopt overigens het water me in de mond: wat prachtig, wat een vakvrouwschap!
