lana grossa cardigan

I present you the fastest knitted cardigan ever (look at last post for details):

Vest_1
It was fun to knit. So fun, that there is a new one on the needles. A green one.
I am sure that I will wear it much. The yarn is soft and the cardigan is made for curling up on the couch on a rainy day with a good book ore knitting.

I am back (4 x)

I am back! With 4 posts.
A quick update: I have finished the lopi cardi and the thank-god-it-is-finished- irish-wannabe. Now I have started a new project. Look here: no 8: micky.
This is the yarn I am using:

mega stoppino from lana grossa.

Only for the brave

Remember the lopi cardigan?
Warning: if you have a weak heart ore stomach, don't look at the following pictures. They can be shocking....

The cardigan was knitted on circular needles.
Then you have to stitch the front and then cut in between!!!!!!
Look and shiver:

But it was all worth it. It is a very comfi cardigan that can resist the present storms and (hope-to-come) snow this winter.

The Irish wannabe is finished.

paris

we have been to Paris with friends: between food and drinks we walked through paris and sniffing a bit of culture. I consider myself lucky to live in West-Europe. Only in a few hours drive you can be in historical cities, like Paris, London, Berlin, Amsterdam.
Here some photo's of the visit at the Rodin museum.
Just look at the black colour of the bronze statues. My favourite detail is the big size of the hands and yet so gracefully.
